Speak to Write/Supporting the Use of Discrete Speech Recognition Technology for Struggling Writers

Read Before Ordering!

I have read and understood that the Speak to Write/Supporting the Use of Discrete Speech Recognition Technology for Struggling Writers Trainer's Manual is only a manual. It will provide me with background information and training tools to support the use of DragonDictate® with students who are struggling with writing.

I have understood:

  1. That this manual DOES NOT come with DragonDictate® discrete speech software which I will need to purchase separately.
  2. That this manual assumes a basic level knowledge of DragonDictate® and does not replace the DragonDictate® User's Manual.
  3. That NO TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE is available to support the use of the Speak to Write CD-ROM.
  4. That this manual DOES NOT teach hands free use.

I have also understood that the Speak to Write Project is a federally funded project (NIDRR, Grant #H133G70143) that was housed at Education Development Center, Inc. in Newton, MA from 1998-2001. Education Development Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization and benefits in no way from the sale or dissemination of DragonDictate® software.
