When I lived in Maine and was in a situation very much like yours, I found
that Dragon Naturally Speaking was widely available at places like Staples,
Office Max, and Best Buy.

Do be careful about which version you buy. I was advised by local experts
to
avoid the cheapest entry-level product and get the Preferred edition. For
my
situation, it provided the best balance between power and price.
