Peter;
I'm not sure if I am reading your email correctly. Are you saying that you
are comparing DNS 5 with ViaVoice (1)?
We are currently using ViaVoice 8 with our clients and find it to be an
excellent program. What we really like is the hands free options VV8 has.
For example it can be placed in the start up to be in sleep mode with a
Speakpad window up and the appropriate user already up and running. There
is no need to select a user. The other wonderful thing is that the system
can be shut down by voice by saying Start Menu>Shutdown. We also have
Dragon DNS 5 both preferred & professional and because most of our clients
have physical disabilities that leave them with little or no hand function
we get very frustrated with the extra commands in Dragon.
I would be interested to hear your comments.
Thank you
Linda Davis
