I have tried to train a student I work with on Dragon Dictate for Teens. =
He is able to repeat back phrases I give him but the computer does not =
save frequently enough. Would newer versions be a better option. This =
student has a phenomenal auditory memory - he is slow to respond and =
voice quality varies. Sometimes when he sounds the most clear, the =
computer doesn't take it. Any suggestions? Also what does anyone know =
about screen readers and about software that would highlight and perhaps =
enlarge words or phrases to be read - that the student could control the =
speed to move along? Cortical vision impairment makes patterning very =
difficult - 1 day he can read a word - another time he can't. He has =
all the phonetic skills to read - any way we can assist him? K Murray
