For as little time and effort as a working classroom teacher can put into
training students, I've been pretty impressed with NaturallySpeaking v.
3.52, on a Pentium III with 128 MB of RAM, and with the Parrot mike. I've
several sixth graders using it regularly, and even with a lot of classroom
background noise and their young-child voices, it seems to work quite well,
if they can remember to speak clearly and with some volume (they tend to
want to whisper to the computer!). We haven't even made much effort to
train errors, which would make it more accurate. We do dictate usually
    just
into Dragon's own word processor....and then move for formatting to WORD.
