Lori,

You didn't really distinguish what the first version was, because the version of
NatSpeak that comes in Naturally Mobile (up to v. 3.5) is the same as the one
you buy in the package as a standalone product (up to v. 3.5). However, if you
bought v. 4 of NatSpeak, then it IS different and requires a much more powerful
computer. This information should be posted on the box.

DNS works fine on most notebook computers, but there are technical reasons
why it doesn't on some. If you have a PII or newer with a USB port, this
might help.

MOst people, and especially students with LD (or similar), really need
assistance in learning how to dictate using ANY speech recognition program.
Either find a local reseller or trainer, or you may need to do it yourself
first.

WE have some information that might be of assistance on our website:

www.edc.org/spk2wrt

Please be aware that we are currently revising the information to reflect new
developments in speech recognition, so it is kind of out of date right now.
However, if you go to the 'Update on Continuous Speech' under the
"Spotlight..." heading, you will find some info that is a bit old, but still
essentially accurate. Also, look in the 'Resource Laboratory.'
