Karen,
The problem you describe may be caused by a variety of things. But first a
couple of questions:
What program are you using? What version? (I assume you're talking about DNS,
not DragonDictate - is this true?)
YOu indicate that this is a girl. Is it the first girl who has tried to use
the system? What age? Is her voice relatively high or "thin" for her age? (I've
had a couple of adolescent girls who could only enroll in DNS Teens).
Regarding font size, it's a problem in DNS but not in DragonDictate. The only
way to increase the font size in the correction list of DNS, even minimally, is
by adjusting the settings in the Display Control panel: under Settings, make
sure you are using the 800x600 resolution AT THE MOST, and under Appearance: set
the font size for Message Box (under 'Item') to something larger than 8 point
(try 14 or 18), or use Arial and try 16. The only possible drawback: unexpected
appearance of other message boxes in other situations.
Please respond on the other issues, as I'm sure others can help.
