What are the minimum hardware requirements to run Dragon NaturallySpeaking?
Solution:
The minimum system requirements for Dragon NaturallySpeaking are a Pentium
133 MHz processor (Recommended 200 MHz) and at least 32 MB RAM (Recommended
64 MB on a computer running Windows 98 or Windows 95, 48 MB for Windows NT
4.0 SP3.
To use the dictation add-on for Microsoft Word 97 or Corel WordPerfect 8
requires an additional 16 MB RAM. Required hard disk space of 180 MB and will
vary depending on which edition and what features you are using.
A Dragon Systems certified or equivalent 16 bit sound card or built-in audio
system with input quality equal to or greater than the Creative Labs Sound
Blaster 16. BestMatch technology requires a 200 MHz Pentium processor and a
minimum of 48 MB of RAM.
