I have two questions.
1.) Is there a recommendation for a reading level one should NOT attempt
speech recognition as a writing tool?
2.) Does anyone know of a reading exercise program/test that could be used
to quickly evaluate at what reading level an individual is at?
I'm finding an increase in referrals for people who are fair to good when
pronouncing the words. But, their reading skills are at a level where they
can hardly spell to correct misrecognized words. This inability to spell
was an embarrassment for a client of mine who didn't wish to reveal their
reading level until several hours into the training.
