I don't get it. Why would creative and media savy teachers resist looking at a
monitor and making corrections. I would think these are the ones who would be
delighted to try new ideas that might help a student/s learn. I find the stick
in the mud teachers are unable to adapt to any technology used in the classroom
unless it is prepared like a video or a OP slide that comes with the curriculum-
-these are the same ones who are reluctant to follow the goals and objectives in
an IEP, also. So, explain to me why at least some teachers aren't yelling
"yippi" and going for the newest technologies?

> I hope to find out more about the new DDNS but with regard to VR not being
appropriate for out school situation. The ASL Interpreters are already in
place anyway as they serve not just to provide verbatim information but to take
the key parts of the information and present it at a language level appropriate
for the deaf and hard of hearing students. In addition, they will interpret any
said by any of the students in the class just in this example it will be typed
on a laptop and projected instead of signed.

> I am not a teacher but the teachers who we approached about this idea were
concerned with having to look a monitor and make corrections or selections of
any type as they felt it would interfere with the natural mode of teaching.
Possibly, very structured and predictable teachers may not feel this way but
ours who are quite creative and media savvy did.
