I thought the following might be of interest to peoople on this list:

This action item is from: Andrew Taylor, <aetaylor@tiac.net>

We are in the process of creating a new dictation application for Apple
Computer's Macintosh. It also has command and control capabilities. It is
based on a speaker dependent continuous speech recognition model.

We are not connected to any particular speech recognition company at
present. Our engineering team worked on Articulate Systems'
PowerSecretary and Voice Navigator products.

We would like to survey the Macintosh world to determine your interest in
such a product. The greater your interest, the sooner we can get to
market. However please do not respond if you would not purchase such a
product.

The personal information that we collect will be held in strict
confidence. It will not be made available to anyone else. When we have
product available we will e-mail you.

If you are interested please visit our site at: http://www.macspeech.com

Thank You for your time.
