Yes, it works quite well with DD, and with the other main dictation
products. You cannot (easily) get simultaneous speech output (ie word by
word as you dictate). It works best if you dictate a chunk and then use
it for proofreading and correcting, which is the way that IBM VoiceType
and the continuous speech programs tend to lead you to.
The synchronised speech facility (which highlights each word as it reads
it back to you) is a great help for proofreading. This is one of a
number of advantages compared with the inbuilt text-to-speech programs
that now come with many of the dictation programs.
