Whoa, I didn't know you were talking about a first grader. I'd be VERY
circumspect about presenting any of these systems to someone that young! As
the info. in the website describes, there is a certain degree of literacy
saviness, as well as reading recognition level, that is required for
independent. I guess it would certainly be possible to let a first grader try
it with constant, ongoing support, but I think I'd want to try some other
strategies first.
