That's great. From a couple of days discussion we're already getting a better
sense of the kinds of kids for whom continuous speech is working, and it sounds
as if the promise for these kids of 'talking to the computer,' despite its
correction issues, is close enough to being realized for many of these kids that

they are willing to put up with the systems' warts.

My sense is, from your and others' experiences shared here, that those students
who are doing the best with continuous speech are those who are "higher
literacy" LD kids - e.g., those for whom reading is less of an issue than
writing, who have a sense of what is means to write even if they don't do it
easily, etc. Any thoughts?
