Tutor/Mentor Training Workshops in Chicago
Linking ideas, programs and people to help inner city kids. A Program of
Cabrini Connections.

August, 2003

SPECIAL T/MC REPORT ON-LINE

TWO NEW WORKSHOPS ADDED TO TUTOR/MENTOR CONNECTION'S WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

Nearly 30 people attended the workshop offered by Toinette Pilgrim,
Executive Director of Michigan's Student Mentor Partner organization. Many
who attended said that they wished they had more time and some said they
wanted to attend this workshop again. Therefore, we've invited Ms.
Pilgrim to do a workshop at the Tutor/Mentor Connection Center in August
and she has agreed. It will be on August 29th.

In addition, we've added a Screenwriting 101 workshop for those who are
capturing the magic of mentoring and trying to put it into videos that you
or your students are producing. Sara Caldwell, President of Amphion
Productions in Los Angeles, will offer a half day workshop on Sunday,
September 28.
