As you may recall, the Academy for Educational Development (AED) is
organizing a call for Promising Practices in Afterschool Programs (PPAS),
and we're working with them to identify applications of technology in
afterschool efforts. If you feel you have a promising practice to share,
please review the request below. Also, when you submit, we ask that you
enter "YouthLearn" in the field for "Source of Information about PPAS" so
that we can learn about your work and glean ideas to share with the
YouthLearn community.

The Center for Youth Development and Policy Research at the Academy for
Educational Development (AED) in Washington, D.C. is pleased to announce a

-Staffing & Training
-Financing
-Research, Evaluation, & Knowledge Base
-Policy & Advocacy
AED is collecting practices as part of the Promising Practices in
Afterschool (PPAS) System funded by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
