Linda,
You can give me a call or e-mail chris@kidfu.com to discuss your using our
magazine template.
To answer your question, the process we use to oversee what goes into the
magazine goes like this:
1. We use various methods to encourage submissions from kids.
2. Our staff go through an initial selection process. For those
submissions that can't be accepted we try to offer as much feedback as
possible. This process is valuable for the kids, because it helps them
improve their writing skills. They will often rework a submission based on
our feedback and send it to us again.
3. We take a few of the best submissions and edit them. We do a little
rewriting, but nothing beyond what an editor of a newspaper would do with a
submission.
4. We publish the magazine.
I look forward to hearing more about your after school computer training
plans as they develop.
Chris
