Hello Dawn and YouthLearn-
Here are seven recommendations from our community about creating
certificates, using free software and spending little money on supplies.
Thanks to William, Margaret, Cheryl, Robert, Kathy, Sandy and Linda! And
best of luck to all of you!

Dawn,
I believe you can do that in MS Publisher. I think there is a template. I
have not used it in a while but if not you could always design your own.

Oh yes get...
PrintShop software. You will love using it, if you have any question just
ask me. You can make certificates, cards, stationary...and on and on.

You can purchase some inexpensive certificate paper and create the
certificates yourself in Word

You may want to look at websites for PrintShop and PrintArtist, that allow
you to download some graphics, and other desktop publishing tools.

Dawn......Microsoft Word has certificate templates that you can use to
create your own certificates. I make my own and purchase the fancy paper
at the office supply store. You can get all kinds of fancy papers...some
with gold and silver embellishments. Just create a certificate in Word and
orientate for landscape rather than portrait and you're good to go. You
don't need fancy software to do what you want to do. A pack of fancy paper
usually sells for less than $8 and you get any where from 50 to 100 sheets
in most of them. Some of the papers that are pre printed border papers are
really nice to use as well. You can choose ink colors in formatting to
match your color schemes. It always gives me a little extra boost to see
how creative I can be making certificates. I have fun with it and it kind
of makes me proud to see how beautiful they can be! Good luck!

Dawn, I think somewhere on theis website you will find certificates that
you can download to print, http://www.globalschoolnet.org; you shouldn't have to get software because there are certificates
already created.... good luck,
linda
