If you use multimedia in your classroom, please consider entering
Multimedia Mania, the multimedia contest sponsored by The International
Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and HyperSIG, ISTE's Multimedia
Special Interest Group. NOTE: The registration deadline is March 30.
Special thanks to our sponsors, ISTE, SAS inSchool, Sunburst and
Macromedia who will be transporting winners in three divisions,
Elementary, Middle Grades, and Upper Grades, to the National School Board
Association Technology + Learning Meetings to Anaheim in October. Please
take a moment to browse through the contest guidelines at: http://www.ncsu.edu/midlink/mmania.how.html
Multimedia Mania winners usually come from classrooms in which technology
is used as a tool to teach and learn any standard curriculum. Any creative
teacher has a chance to win this contest!
Last year's winners have presented at national and state conferences and
have been invited to write articles and share their work with colleagues
across the country. Please pass along this information to any teacher who
might be interested!
