www.idealist.org is a website that might be helpful. their website is
fully searchable and they compile a daily digest of opportunites for job
and volunteer positions as well as events and pertinant articles. You can
customize the digest to your region and interest and posting a position or
event is free.

I think its a relatively new sight but it seems to be growing quickly in
popularity. The digest gets bigger and bigger as the months go on.
