Patty,
There is a an organization based out of San Francisco called No Mayo
(www.nomayo.org). There is a record label associated with the organization
that sells compilation CDs and the proceeds help to fund the nonprofit. I
received some great information from the director, Caitlin Stevens, about
Mixman software. No Mayo worked out an agreement with Mixman to offer the
software at an educational discount which cuts the price by nearly 70% for
the studio mixing software and mixing hardware. I would suggest following
up with Caitlin directly (contact information is on their web site).
She also mentioned that she had access to some curriculum materials.
Hope this helps. Have a good weekend.
Take care,
Andy
