Dear YES Egypt,

Greetings from the YES HQ in Boston. Kolo tamam hena. The summer in Boston
is very hot and, as usual, we are keeping extremely busy and the work of
the Campaign is moving forward.

I have taken this opportunity to especially write a letter to you all as
YES Egypt because I, on behalf of the YES Campaign, want to commend you all
on the incredible progress you are making and the achievements that you are
making. I have been receiving great reports from Abdallah [the first] and
it is really unbelievable what you are capturing. Your dedication is
inspiration and seeing the growth of Egyptian participants in global
discussion and projects, including some on TakingITGlobal and the growth of
the YES Country Network really makes us proud. Here are a few highlights I
would like to mention that to me have especially been remarkable:

The establishment of YES Egypt as a legal entity.
The development of a clear structure.
The expansion of YES Egypt's activities to include Cairo and other
      towns.
The amazing number of events planned, including an event for youth
with special needs and other entrepreneurial activities such as the
      carwash
Your participation in online forums and continuing to let the voice
of Egyptian youth be heard-especially as you are matching your words
      with action.
Several partnerships developed by the International Committee
Articles written by the Media team
And many other activities which are too many to list on one email.

As the YES Country Networks Coordinator, I am very proud of the YES
Network in Egypt and you really are deserving of acknowledgement.

However, I want to continue to encourage each and every one of you to
realize that this journey is only just beginning and that there is a long
way to go before we can say we have completed our work. Let us not give up
or slow down. Instead, we need to build momentum and continue to engage
those who are currently not involved in YES Egypt. We have to remember that
we cannot achieve our goals alone and that other people play an important
role. Once they join YES Egypt, they will be happy to work in such an
inspiring and energetic team environment held together by your motto, "One
for All and All for One!"

Keep up the good work and I look forward to continuing to see your progress
via the internet and someday soon I wish to be back with you all in
Eskandrea, inshallah!

 Salaam a leikoum ya Shebab!
