What is CSA? The Community School Alliances (CSA) project aims to improve community participation in Ghanaian primary schools. CSA is highly participatory. It strives to build an environment of mutual respect, responsibility and action among community members, schools, and education administrators, as they meet the learning needs of Ghanaian children. CSA is the community mobilization component of the USAID-sponsored Quality Improvement in Primary Schools (QUIPS) program. QUIPS aims at improving the effectiveness of primary education in Ghana. QUIPS is part of the initiatives under the Government of Ghana's Free Compulsory Universal Basic Education (fCUBE) programme.
The CSA project is designed, managed and implemented by Education Development Center, Inc. (USA), with the assistance from CARE USA and Save the Children, USA.
